Founded in January, A.S. XII, the Kingdom of Meridies is the fifth oldest Kingdom in the Known World. Geographically it consists of Alabama, the eastern two-thirds of Tennessee, almost all of Georgia, a bit of the panhandle of Florida, and a portion of Kentucky. Given its location, it should be no surprise that the name Meridies means "The South".
The device of the Kingdom of Meridies is Argent, on a pale sable a crown of three points, above each point a mullet argent, overall a laurel wreath counterchanged.
Members of the populace or groups within the Kingdom who have provided great service, may receive an Augmentation of Arms. The augmentation takes the form of three mullets argent, one and two, and may be placed upon the arms of the recipient where appropriate.
